Habitats are the places where plants and animals live. For bull trout it's cold, clean water. For caddisflies and ouzels it's the water in the river, the air above it, and the plants on its banks. Journey with us as we wade into riffles, runs, and pools and push our way through thickets of alders, chokecherry, and willow to learn about where big fish rest and small fish feed and why degraded parts of the river might not support fish. We'll learn about what makes good habitat for all sports of creatures on the Jocko River.
